Wicchu Child Safety Standards

Wicchu has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to every Wicchu user, community, post, comment, image, video, link, and interaction.

Prohibited conduct and content

Wicchu prohibits creating, uploading, requesting, sharing, promoting, storing, or facilitating CSAM or any conduct that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child. This includes grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sextortion, trafficking for sexual exploitation, and attempts to normalize or enable such conduct.

How to report a concern

In the Wicchu app, open the affected publication’s options menu, select Report post, choose Child safety, describe the concern, and submit it. Reports are provided to the Wicchu safety team and the relevant community moderators. You may also contact [email protected]. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first.

Our response

Wicchu reviews child-safety reports and may promptly restrict access to or remove suspected prohibited content, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant records where lawful, and take other steps needed to protect users. Community rules or administrator decisions cannot override these standards.

Confirmed CSAM and legal compliance

When Wicchu confirms CSAM or receives actual knowledge of it, we act in accordance with applicable law. This includes removing or disabling access to the material and, where required, reporting it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the appropriate regional or national authority. We cooperate with lawful investigations and do not notify a reported user when doing so could endanger a child or compromise an investigation.
